Beyond this crib's gentle curves and elegant features exists a deliberate design of safety. Wayne Kroeplin, the original designer of this crib, was deeply concerned about this since his own daughter would spend her first 2 years in this crib.

Traditional corner posts usually protrude upward, a proven hazard for snagging clothes. The curved ends on this crib are designed to completely eliminate this threat. The curved ends also prevent a child from climbing over the rails. The curved flat panels make it much easier to clean with no bacterial build up in crevasses. The spindles are placed 2 1/2" apart (1/8" more than the standard amount) providing extra stability and strength. Both sides of the crib adjust up or down and slide along a polished metal bar. This eliminates ware over the years making the unit safe in years to come. The mattress rests on a metal frame attached firmly to its base. The crib is precision crafted and comes with plastic teething rails. Even the varnish is non-toxic and safe for children, there are no paint chips to come off and there are no rivits to catch on clothing.
